Terms of Use

Hermeticum is a tarot platform that offers readings in the English tradition (Rider-Waite-Smith) and the French tradition (Tarot de Marseille), organized by the areas of life. Interpretations are drawn from a curated meanings database.

The service is intended for entertainment and self-knowledge. Readings do not constitute, and are not a substitute for, professional advice — medical, psychological, legal, financial or of any other kind. No reading should be taken as a guaranteed prediction of future events. Any decisions you make are your sole responsibility.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and subscribe to a paid plan. By using the platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

To access features that require registration, you will provide accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

We offer a free plan and a Premium subscription plan. The free plan gives access to one school of your choice and a limited number of readings; Premium unlocks both schools, all spreads and additional features.

The Premium subscription is monthly and recurring. Payment is processed by Stripe; we neither receive nor store your card details. By subscribing, you authorize the automatic charge of the current price each cycle, until cancellation.

We may change prices. Changes will be communicated with reasonable notice and take effect in the cycle following the notice; you may cancel beforehand if you do not agree.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the management portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; Premium access remains active until the end of the period already paid, with no pro-rata refund, except where required by law.

Depending on your country, you may have a statutory right to withdraw within a cooling-off period (for example, 7 days in Brazil or 14 days in the EU). To exercise it, contact us at the email below.

When using Hermeticum, you agree not to:

• ◆use the platform for unlawful purposes or to violate the rights of others;
• ◆attempt to access areas, accounts or data without authorization;
• ◆copy, resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the content without permission;
• ◆reverse engineer, scrape or overload the infrastructure;
• ◆circumvent plan limits, security or billing mechanisms.

The Hermeticum brand, visual identity, texts, card artwork and software are protected and belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable license to use the platform under these Terms. No rights beyond those expressly granted are transferred.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hermeticum is not liable for decisions made based on the readings, nor for indirect, incidental or consequential damages or lost profits. Nothing in these Terms excludes liabilities that cannot be excluded by law, including consumer rights.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law. You may close your account at any time. Termination does not release obligations already incurred.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Where applicable, the consumer's place of domicile is the elected forum for resolving disputes.
